Water Follies, Part Deux

Papa wasn't about to let summer get jump-started with such a whimper (see the previous post). So the following week, when the community pool still wasn't open yet, we stepped 'er up with a "massive" new pool. Still not big enough for Old Man Sausage, but the purple "crib" sure beat the "womb" from last week. Let the water follies continue!

Excited to finally have a little room to stretch out and get wet.

They opted to supplement their pool time with some old-fashioned sprinkler fun. That Nutty sure is fleet-footed for a two year old.

Beeju quickly developed a routine. Step one: soak the front.

Step two: soak the back.

Step three: run like the wind.

Step four: prepare for takeoff.

Step five: airborne!

Step six: the descent. Wheels down.

Step seven: touchdown!

A near miss during today's follies. Phew. I was going to say that it looks closer than it really was, but no, it really was that close. Air Beeju was almost grounded from future flights.
